Like most ecom sites, we relied heavily on emails to market to our customers - this means multiple emails a week targeting different customers in several locations. Since working at SPUD.CA I helped rework their email header and footer - making it stand out more against our competitors and tried to create a constant flow of emails that people wanted to receive in their inbox.
KEY CHALLENGES WERE…
Making sure each email felt different and not repetitive while sticking to the brand colours, themes and guidelines.
Ensuring customers could recognise ‘sales’ emails with limited time offers and deals to keep them interested.
Quick turnarounds - these emails were often created and sent out within a few days / 1 week, with products changing regularly.
